Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans can change. Below you’ll find our cancellation terms:

More than 6 months before the retreat
Your deposit or full payment is refundable, minus a 3% processing fee.

Between 3 and 6 months before the retreat
The deposit of €499,- is non-refundable.
Any remaining balance paid will be refunded, minus a 3% processing fee.

You may also choose to transfer your booking to a future &SHEA retreat (subject to availability and price differences).

Within 3 months of the retreat
All payments are non-refundable.

Non-attendance or early departure

If you are unable to attend the retreat or choose to leave early, no refunds will be issued.

If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your booking to another person, subject to approval and communication in advance.

Payment terms

If you use a payment plan; the remaining balance must be paid no later than 30 days before the retreat.

If payment is not received in time, your booking may be cancelled unless otherwise agreed.

If we cancel the retreat

In the unlikely event that we need to cancel the retreat, you will receive:

  • a full refund (including your deposit), or

  • the option to transfer your booking to a future retreat

Travel & Insurance

Participants are responsible for arranging their own travel, visas (if applicable), and insurance.

We strongly recommend taking out travel insurance that covers cancellations, medical expenses, and unforeseen circumstances.

Weather & Ocean Conditions

Surfing and outdoor activities are dependent on weather and ocean conditions.

While we always aim to provide the best possible experience, conditions such as waves, tides, wind, or weather may affect the schedule or type of activities.

No refunds will be issued due to weather or ocean conditions, as these are beyond our control.

Program Changes

We reserve the right to make changes to the program, schedule, instructors, or activities if necessary, always with the intention of maintaining the quality and safety of the experience.

Liability

By joining the retreat, you acknowledge that participation in activities such as surfing, yoga and other physical experiences involves inherent risks.

&SHEA cannot be held liable for injuries, loss, or damages that may occur during the retreat.
